Sessions of the 23rd class of the Professional Master's Programme in European Union began on 26 October, with participants from several countries in Europe and the Americas and from ten different degree backgrounds.

On 4 November Amado Franco, Chairman of Ibercaja and Vice-President of the CECA (Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks), gave the inaugural lecture of the RIEE's 25th anniversary Master's Programme, on the financial system at a crossroads.
